Airing Thursday, February 3rd at 8PM on CPTV

For most people in Connecticut, February 6, 1978 started out as just another Monday.  But by midday, our roadways were at a standstill.

For three days, Mother Nature seized control over Connecticut, as automobile, air and rail traffic were shut down and bustling businesses went dark.

Watch the dramatic events unfold in a new CPTV original documentary, The Blizzard of ’78.   Witness rarely seen film footage, photographs and firsthand accounts of the storm that brought wind gusts of up to 70 miles per hour and snowdrifts as high as 16 feet.
